Home inspections are similar to receiving a physical from your doctor. Our home inspectors perform non-invasive methods to check all of the most important systems in your home, from electrical wiring to plumbing and HVAC systems.

The report consists of all of the pertinent photos from the home inspection and a list of the home’s major and minor defects. Our reports are substantially more comprehensive than our competitors, making them great tools during the negotiating process.

The majority of home inspections take place when buying or selling a home, typically after the seller has accepted the buyer’s offer. A qualified home inspector can ensure there are no hidden issues the buyer should know about, and, if there are problems to address, it may impact the sale of the home. However, if you’re concerned something may be broken or not functioning properly in your home, it’s always a good idea to have it checked. Mold inspections, in particular, can save a lot of money down the road, and keep your home safe.

DBL Check LLC is certified and licensed to perform your pool and mold inspection. Be sure to add this to your order before the inspection, as the services are discounted at that time

You’re welcome to be in your home as we inspect your property. However, we don’t allow clients to shadow the inspectors as this is an insurance liability and potential safety hazard. You are absolutely encouraged to be at the inspection, as it’s a great opportunity to spend more time in the home.

At the end of every inspection, we’ll provide a detailed summation with all of the pertinent photos. We will also answer any questions you may have about the home.

The size, age, and condition of your home will determine the length of the inspection. The average inspection may last up to four hours. It’s not uncommon for DBL Check LLC to send multiple inspectors to larger properties in order to reduce the overall time of the inspection.

Each inspector is equipped with a supra key app that will unlock the blue lockbox. Any special access arrangements will need to be made with DBL Check LLC and the inspector.

You can call our office at 512-669-9909 and leave a message with your name and number. You may also send an email to danica@dblcheck.net. Calls will be returned within 24 hours and are handled on a first-come-first-served basis.
